Your options

Four choices, made together.

The letters are the parts of Medicare each choice covers. We compare them against your doctors, prescriptions and budget.

Works with Parts A & B

Medigap

Pairs with Original Medicare for broad access to doctors and predictable out-of-pocket costs.

Part C

Medicare Advantage

Bundles hospital, medical and often drug coverage in one plan, usually with a network.

Part D

Prescription drugs

Drug coverage on its own. Drug lists change every year, which is why the fall review matters.

Oct 15 – Dec 7

Annual review

Every fall we check your plan against your doctors, drugs and budget for the year ahead.

Common questions

Questions, answered

The Annual Enrollment Period runs October 15 to December 7 each year, with changes taking effect January 1. If you’re in a Medicare Advantage plan, you can also make one switch between January 1 and March 31.

Medigap pairs with Original Medicare for broad access to doctors and predictable costs. Medicare Advantage bundles coverage, often with lower premiums and a network. We compare both against your doctors and prescriptions.

It depends on your employer’s size and coverage. Some people can delay Part B without a penalty. We check your situation before you enroll in anything.
